Print and paper advocacy group, Two Sides, are excited to announce its newest member from the packaging sector, ECMA: The European Carton Makers Association.
ECMA is the international network of folding carton organisations. ECMA represents around 500 carton producers across Europe who account for around 70% of the total carton market volume in Europe and employ a workforce of about 50,000 people.
“ECMA are delighted to become members – we look forward to working with Two Sides to further promote cartons as a truly sustainable packaging option,” says Managing Director Mike Turner.
Consumers, brands and advertisers are increasingly conscious of the environmental impacts of the products and materials they use and consume. Paper packaging’s unique sustainable features – renewability, recyclability and biodegradability – give it a natural advantage.
“Welcoming new members on board is always a great pleasure and we look forward to partnering with ECMA to help share the great story paper and paper packaging has to tell,” says Jonathan Tame, Managing Director of Two Sides UK.
By joining Two Sides, ECMA gain access to a large library of co-brandable communications tools, consumer research, industry-leading information, sustainability advice and events.
